Westfield Galleria at Roseville

A charity-based event brings 300 attendees, local news and print media, raising over $3,000 to kick off the holiday shopping season.

Challenge:  Create a charity-based event the day after Thanksgiving that would encourage shoppers to come out to Westfield Galleria at Roseville and help raise money for a local charity.
 
Solution:  Augustine & Associates developed a full-blown event with the client that included advertising and public relations components including print ads, postcard direct mailer, mall advertising, radio promotions and press opportunities.
 
Results:  Over 300 attendees arrived the morning of the event, as early as 4:00am to secure their place in line and ensure that they were one of the first 300 people to receive a “Power Shopping Bag” full of coupons and gifts from various retailers. TV and print media covered the event and over $3,000 was raised for the South Placer Breast Cancer Endowment.
