Carla has an extensive background in accounting which includes inventory-related accounting, bank compliance reporting for asset-based loan requirements, retail auditing for due diligence needs and all aspects of general accounting. Her strong experience included working as Director of Inventory Management for Tower Records/Video/Books—a position she held for over six years. Carla worked at Tower for over 25 years. She also has a strong background as an Auditor/Field Examiner and Staff Accountant for other organizations. Carla is now onboard at Augustine/CEI as an Account Manager.
What You Might Not Know…
Carla was an Air Force brat, living overseas in Okinawa for most of her childhood. That’s one of the main reasons she loves the coast today (but definitely does not like bridges or cliffs!) Carla’s been married to her same wonderful husband for over 27 years, since she married him when she was just 19 years old. They have two beautiful children, Blake, who works as a youth camp counselor for the Salvation Army, and Rebecca, a college student. Long marriages run in Carla’s family— her parents have been married for 54 years; her in-laws have been married over 50 years.
