A Magna Cum Laude graduate with an MBA from California State University, Long Beach, and a BA in Communications from California State University, Fullerton, Jill has more than 25 years of marketing experience in a variety of industries throughout California and Florida. Prior to her position at Augustine, Jill was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for a Sacramento-area homebuilder where she developed innovative marketing programs for dozens of different home communities. Her experience also includes heading sales and marketing for the master-planned golf course community of Serrano in El Dorado Hills. In the 10 years she was there, the 3,500-acre property became the #1 best-selling community in Northern California and earned a reputation for quality and prestige. Jill won more than 160 awards for marketing while she was there, including “National Marketing Director of the Year.” In addition, Serrano was named “National Community of the Year” for its innovative marketing, branding and environmental programs. A published writer and speaker, Jill also orchestrated numerous events at Serrano’s amphitheatre and Visitors Center, including art shows, concerts and ballet performances.
What You Might Not Know…
Jill was a serious ballet dancer until she turned 16 and discovered the world of boys. She was also the keynote graduation speaker and Valedictorian in elementary, junior high and high school. A world-traveler, Jill has traveled to more than 56 different countries, in fact, she took an entire year off to sail from California to the Caribbean on her private sailboat (she’s actually sailed around the world 2 ½ times—the first two times were on Semester at Sea, a college on a ship, and the rest of the time from private sailing trips!) Married to the same, great man for over 25 years, they are parents to two teenage sons (that she STILL likes a lot!) She also works with teenage girls at her church, strives to continue helping and sponsoring children in worldwide impoverished countries, and hopes to write a book some day…
