Born and raised in Greece, this world-traveler studied at the University of Maryland, Germany, receiving his AA in Computer Studies. Back in the U.S., he received his BA degree at Sacramento State in Business and Finance.
Robert’s career has spanned over 20 years as a business and management professional specializing in builder and developer markets. His strengths cover business administration, business management, home building and land development.
Beginning in the arena of real estate land use as a Developer working for a local construction company in 1990, Robert worked for a wide variety of builders, including Syntex Homes (#1 Home Builder at that time), Meritage Homes, and Tim Lewis Communities. Ultimately he created his own company, Nouveau Homes, Inc. in 2003, and then joined Augustine in 2007 where he is today—planning, coordinating, and overseeing the daily operations of the agency teaming with the executives and managers. Continuously improving the structure and processing imperative to managing the agency’s current activities, Robert keeps a keen eye to the constant growth and profitability that fuels the Augustine-energy.
What You Might Not Know…
English is actually Robert’s second language, as he is fluent in his native language, Greek. (When he’s overheard speaking heatedly in Greek to his son, Angelo, we all know that the teenager is in major trouble!) He has four children, two of which are twin toddlers with his wife, Debbie. He served in the United States Air Force, in Mather AFB, California & Ramstein AFB, Germany, Saudi Arabia, and the U.S.—where he was a Security Specialist and Supervisor. During half of that time he was also a body guard for NATO (he was accomplished in the martial arts, Kempo.) An outdoorsman, loving especially to hike and bicycle, Robert savors any chance he can to travel and most of all enjoy life with Debbie and his active family—including three high-maintenance Schnauzers.
