“Love Rocks!”

As the Senior Copywriter for Augustine & Associates, Cara juggles the demands of supporting the Augustine team through her writing of ad copy, radio spots and a wide variety of collateral material. As a seasoned copywriter, with over 30 years experience in the advertising and communication fields, Cara has worked for major accounts and clients in Los Angeles, Monterey and presently for Augustine & Associates in Sacramento. Her award-winning TV, radio and print campaigns have featured national accounts in the creative, entertainment, art, nature, travel, retail, tourism, hospitality, educational, health, housing, health fields and many more—including a multitude of charity-driven organizations and committees, such as the American Red Cross, ASPCA, Los Angeles Zoo, Animal Friends, PAWS, and more. Cara has also been a staff writer for a hospital on the Monterey Peninsula, the PR/Marketing Writer for the Monterey Museum of Art, the Development Writer researching and writing for CTB/McGraw-Hill, and the Marketing Manager for a Carmel fashion center. A Bachelor of Arts graduate from UCLA, Cara majored in English and minored in Dance and Theatre.

What You Might Not Know…
Cara was once a volunteer elephant keeper at The Los Angeles Zoo for many years, has traveled to Africa on a photographic safari, is the proud Nana to her beloved grandson, Kaio—her favorite role as well as that of mother to Ethan and Jesse and Adam and dog and cats Krissy, Scout and Boo. When Cara’s not cheering on her hockey-playing husband, Pete and son, Adam, she is reaching out to the public as a published author, (Dear Cara-Letters From Otto Frank), inspirational speaker and memoir writer.
